My husband’s aunt who is an awesome person asked her to drive her home to Florida.  The trip sounds like a lot of fun, but at the same time I really do not want to drive back home and I am not entirely sure what we could do with our dog.  The dog is one of the only ways that our house stays protected from thieves, so I would not want to board her or take her away from the house.  It used to be easy to find a house sitter while we went on vacation, but those people that used to watch our house have their own houses now that they need to be at.  My hubby says that he is too uncomfortable leaving the house unattended, so what should we do?  I want to help her out, and getting some sunshine in the process would be awesome, but I do not want to get robbed!
