A couple of weeks ago my husband asked this guy across the street from his mom’s house if he wanted to sell his little Ford car for $100.  The guy was on his way to prison for at least 3 years, and we knew he needed money and the car only goes in reverse.  Anyways, the guy tried to play hardball and my hubby doesn’t go for that kind of thing.  The guy says another guy down the street is going to buy it for $150 and my hubby tells him to kiss off.  After the guy ends up leaving for prison the car is still sitting there, and his mom is selling it to us for $90.  We are going to just give it to my hubby’s mom so they have semi-dependable ride because their current car is a real POS.  I hope that they can get this new POS running alright so that they can get from A to B without so many problems.
