My dad was supposed to visit for Christmas and he ended up not coming because the weather was really bad in between Alabama and here. I was kind of sad because I know that my grandmother was looking forward to having one last Christmas with all of us together before she ends up having to move to Alabama, but she said that she would rather him not put his life in danger just to come hang out with us for the holidays.

I felt really bad, but my brother and I made it out to her house for Christmas so she was not lonely and I stayed there for a few hours and took all of her decorations down and helped her to write out some of her checks that needed to go out into the mail. I know that she is not going to be around forever so I try to make her happy and she seemed happy that we stayed and visited for so long.
