The hubby and I sat down tonight and started figuring out each person that we have to buy Christmas presents for and what we were planning on getting them. SO we went to pick up our new truck on Tuesday only to find that the paint had been messed up on the hood and on the side fender. We told them that we did not want the truck in this condition because it is supposed to be a BRAND NEW truck. They gave us a Trail Blazer to drive around while they fixed it and said it would be ready in a day or two.

The dealer that we had been working with called us the next afternoon and she said that the truck was looking great and that we could go pick it up. We went to look at it, and although there were some tiny spots left on it, it was not noticeable so we took the truck and have been driving it for a couple of days now!

The hubby hasn’t let me drive it yet, but I haven’t really asked. If it does not rain today I want to drive it to make sure that I can handle driving a truck.

The deals on new trucks have been quite amazing lately. My hubby and I have been shopping for a new truck for the last week or so and we finally signed on one today. We are getting a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado with a V8 engine in it!

We had a less than wonderful experience at the dealership that we were going through so I wrote about it on Craigs List and the dealership made everything better so I went on Craigs List and deleted the mean things that I had said about them. It was funny because the lady actually asked me tonight to remove the post that we had made about her. I did my best and did not laugh about it in the office.
