I love playing Bingo, it is a really fun game that I usually do not even win, but I really enjoy playing it. Lately I have stopped going to the local bingo hall because it was getting too crowded which lessens my chances of winning even more than just my regular bad luck. The weather is getting bad anyways and I do not like to travel when it is snowing. I decided that I am going to give online bingo a shot because it looks like a lot of fun! I’m going to try out galabingo this week because it looks like a lot of fun, and I will not have to leave my house to go sit in a stinky bingo hall! The hubby and I sat down tonight and started figuring out each person that we have to buy Christmas presents for and what we were planning on getting them. It is quite a large list and most of them come from my side of the family because I have a lot of aunts and uncles. It felt like we were accomplishing a lot even though we are not shopping as of yet.

It is fun to start thinking about exactly what we want to get everyone, but I know that we will find a lot of stray items on SlickDeals.net because that site is super awesome. I found that last year we bought quite a bit of things that were on SlickDeals.

I would like to make sure that everyone gets something good from us this year, but I want to make sure that we do not go into extra debt because of the holiday. We just got this new truck payment and our insurance is a little more, so we have to be more frugal.

I keep forgetting that I want to take pictures of our new Silverado to put here on the site. The weather has been horrible for the past couple of days so I have not really wanted to go out to take a whole bunch of pictures.

Speaking of the weather where is this global warming I keep hearing about? I swear that it gets a little colder here every year and it snows a bit earlier too. It was snowing yesterday and it is supposed to snow again tonight. I’m not sure when I am going to be able to get my truck washed!

I just wanted to yammer a little bit about the weather and my new truck. Now I am going to go visit the in laws for a little while and make a trip to the post office. Ciao!

I got some steak burgers in the mail today from the Omaha Steak Company because my husband found a really good deal on them. The burgers came in a real nice big styrofoam container that had a huge block of dry ice in it.

My husband and I are going to take it over to his mom’s house and I am going to bring a drink with the dry ice in it to freak out his little sister. I’m gonna tell her that it is witche’s brew or something along those lines. She will think it is really neat.

I remember playing with this stuff in science class, and I looked up to make sure that it was ok to drink something with dry ice in it, and it is totally fine just do not suck in the vapors for too long because they will eat your oxygen and you will pass out!!

I am not sure what we are going to hand out here at my house for Halloween this year. The last couple of years I made some really cute Halloween bags to give to the Trick or Treaters that had a little jar of play dough, a sucker, and some fun size snickers and things like that, but I only had a few kids stop by so I had a bunch of leftover stuff. I am thinking about just going to Sams Club to get a whole box of regular size candy bars to give to the kids for actually going out in the cold to do some good old fashioned trick or treating. It would end up costing me about the same as the bags did and kids love it when you give them a full size candy bar!

So the Halloween party that my friend and I have been planning for the last month happened on Saturday and I would have to say that it went pretty good.

I ended up dressing up as a fairy, but since the costume that I bought that was supposed to be plus size was too small I ended up running out to Fashion Bug an hour before the party and found a really nice party dress there for $29.99. I took the dress back to the costume shop and told them that it was too small. I paid $26.00 for the dress that was sort of cheesy and cheap back to that shop and got a nice dress that I could wear for other occasions for about the same price. I felt accomplished after that.

All of the little kids looked really cute. There was a lot of candy and they even went on a scavenger hunt outside even though it was kind of cold out.

I am happy that the party was a success, but since then it feels like Halloween is over and it is still a few days away!

I thought that it would be really fun to go out Halloween shopping yesterday and it was not a good idea after all. I went to a couple of different Halloween stores only to find the same costumes over and over again and they were packed. I decided that I wanted to find my Sexy Costumes online for both my husband and myself. I would rather shop online instead of being in those crowded stores that pop up at this time of year every year. Shopping online for Halloween costumes is the way to go and a good site to do this at is www.HalloweenAdventure.com. I found a couple of Halloween costumes on that site that I really liked! I know that almost everyone in America loves the show House, but it actually just gets on my nerves. The guy is a jerk and I know that is how he is meant to be portrayed but it just irritates me not entertains me.

I am however excited that there are so many new shows coming out this fall instead of a ton of reality shows. I was starting to get really sick of reality television. Sometimes it is cool to watch, but when that is all that is on I start to get irritated.

I have been watching True Blood on HBO, Sons of Anarchy on FX, Pushing Daisies on ABC, and a few others here and there. Sometimes I really get into these shows just like a soap opera and I like watching them every week. Thanks to TiVo I get to actually watch them when I want.

South Park also just started a new season so I am happy about that too! I am going to have a good fall, it helps with the weather getting colder.

I have been trying to find a nice Halloween costume for the last month or so. Being a big girl makes things harder than it should actually be. I have found a few costumes that were O.K., but nothing that has been really great.

I think that I am going to get to Goodwill and the Salvation Army this week to see if they have any little black dresses in my size. I have been looking for a dark fairy costume so if I got a little black dress I could find dark wings and just call it good.

Next year I hope to have lost enough weight by this time of year that it will be easy for me to find a cute and cheap costume. I really get tired of having to look for specialty items just because I am a plus size girl!

I really appreciate being able to check out all of my news online. I used to depend on the local news on television at 6:00 but that is a thing of the past.
